The bouquet of the is dominated by ripe berry fruits such as blackberries and blackcurrants as well as preserved cherries. Spicy, aromatic hints of prunes, blackcurrant jam, elegant oak and vanilla as well as mineral notes of graphite perfectly round off the nose. On the palate, the Cosimo reveals itself to be an incredibly round, velvety, juicy and rich top-quality red wine that wonderfully expresses the terroir around Taranto on the Ionian Sea. The finish is again full of fruit, extract, velvety tannins and a fine residual sweetness.
